Centrologic’s team has spent last weekend in beautiful seaside city - Świnoujście. We’ve been invited to “Young IT Professionals” conference (www.smi.org.pl), organized by “Polish Information Processing Society” (www.pti.org.pl) and University of Szczecin (www.us.szc.pl).

We’ve taken part in “Young talents festival” where we’ve presented our previous and recent projects.

It’s not so easy to design promotional leaflet that will interest clients and won’t be throw out immediately.

Finally we got the name we were looking for our program and the legend of the “Chicken Man” is finished. Our old programs named Grafista and iScada changed definitely the name to “Likindoy”. (more…)

We are working on a system that will allow visitors of our website and our clients to contact us directly from the website. This system is contacting us straight on our jabber accounts. System is using ajax to contact PHP interface, and PHP is contacting Python daemon running on server. This system is still in prerelase state, so there is high possibility of errors.

We are currently working on Castellari cafe website. Below are some graphics that might give You impression of it’s final look.

Pretty soon we will offer you the possibility to power on and off lights from the website. You will be able power off somebodys’ computer and see that person going mad, you will have the chance to feed workers, make them to smile, give them electroshocks, etc… Stay tuned!

We’ve got one of ADAM 5000 TCP from Advantech some days ago. It looks like this:

Our aim was to enable comunication with it throught Modbus protocol over Ethernet. Thanks to many libraries inside of our system for industrial registering we managed to get it working in some hours. Currently, we already have a library ADAM 5000 TCP that handles everything around reading and writting to the hardware.

One of the results you can see in the following video:

During all those tests we agreed that we are very happy with the results of this hardware and the price is not that high like other hardware of the same category and quality. In adition we have to say that its internal CPU allows to upload programs to handle its behavior, the language for programing is kind of C.

No animals were injured during those tests.

Starting with this post we are launching the official web blog of Centrologic development team.

We are planning on providing our readers with information from our company’s life by publishing posts about our ideas, our current work and our achievements. As we are an international team we’ve decided that it will be best to write all notes in english, maybe with time we will start separate vesions also for polish and spanish, but for sure it will not happen soon. We will try to publish as much information about our work as possible, but you still need to keep in mind that some level of confidentiality still apply, as we don’t want to go out of business too soon.
